My favourite chippy in the area. They cater for vegetarians if you ask - which I hugely appreciate, as that is a rarity around here. Their chips are great, and I love their veggie burger and their spring rolls. Proper comfort grub. Staff always cheerful and helpful.

I come here most Fridays for my dad and he swears by this being the best fish and chip shop in Stowmarket by quite a far stretch. Nice friendly gentleman too.

Excellent chippy. The cod was crispy and meaty, the chips excellently cooked in beef dripping, and the plaice deliciously crispy and flaky. The mushy peas well-seasoned. And not dear. Friendly service with a smile. Good battered sausage too. Top class chippy!

A great local chippy, not as big as some of the others in the town and a little tucked away. However this does not stop it from serving up great tasting Cod and Chips. Owner is really friendly and they are also Covid Aware asking people to wait outside once they have ordered.
The best in stowmarket! End of! Can’t recommend them enough, chips chunky and cooked to perfection not greasy and cold like some Iv had. Husband loves his haddock and recons this is the best he’s had and the curry sauce is something I could happily eat on its own straight out of the tub 😋
My favorite, good fish and chips. My only complain is the new young girl , no communication skills and annoys me when she does not ask if you want salt and vinegar. I know is silly , but it bugs me 😁. I love my salt and vinegar from Chippy shop . Andrew is always polite can't fault him and I love the old man too . All in one the best fish and chips in Stowmarket land .
Proper fish n chips, good portion and fryer server was very pleasant (and English) which makes a refreshing change from a Turkish chippy, my opinion is they just can't quite get it right although I'm sure there must be a decent one somewhere 🙄

Stow fish bar does good fish and chips, pretty much everything is cooked from fresh so be prepared to wait while that happens, but who can complain at it being freshly cooked. Definitely one of the best in Stowmarket.
